Trinity Girls were awarded Second Place at Buxton Contest, a first podium place with their new conductor Anna Hughes-Williams
Anna Hughes-Williams at the Helm
Following the very sad passing of their charismatic, inspirational conductor Mr Richard Evans in April 2022, Trinity Girls were very pleased to appoint their first female conductor since the band was founded in 1959.
In Richard’s last few months with the band he asked Anna to help him out by conducting Trinity Girls. She was a tower of strength to both Richard and the band and worked hard to ensure that Trinity Girls were in a position to compete in the Area Contest at the end of February 2022.
The band now look forward to some new challenges through the rest of 2022 and beyond.
